#When you let your Deepsoul wings go…
Hello Deepsouls&Co,
And how’s the wind blowing today? Ready to spread some digital deep-soul wings?🪽
You have created something from within yourself. And once it is finished, the outside world comes in.
Suddenly it has to become visible.
Be read.
Be found.
Be judged.
Maybe not picked up at all.
What happens to you when something that has been yours for a very long time is suddenly allowed to leave you?
Panic or no panic.
Control or no control.
Nothing or everything.
I honestly don’t know.
I created something that was mine for a very long time.
A book. My drawings. My search. My memories. My deepsoul wings.
And then it was finished.
Or almost.
Because apparently, the real adventure begins when you let something so personal slip out of your own hands: your own Deepsoul wings.
And then suddenly comes the question:
Why on earth did I make this?
Not because I don’t know why.
Because I love drawing.
Because somewhere along the way, something came into being that I apparently had to create.
But now that it is there, visible to others, something else comes into play.
The question of whether anyone is actually waiting for it.
And there is something vulnerable in that.
Because what if nobody clicks?
What if nobody wants to receive the book?
What if my deepsoul wings were really only meant for me?
Maybe that is the hardest form of letting go.
Not knowing what will happen to something once you have released it.
I thought I was sending a book out into the world. Maybe the book was sending me somewhere too.
